I particularly enjoyed reading your thoughts about Amie. I too tend to have a skeptical, worrisome view of the future. And many people of like mind refuse to have children because they feel they&#039;re &quot;adding to the burden on this world&quot; or &quot;I can&#039;t bring a child into this horrible world.&quot; But I often feel that my children are the hope as well. If we, who try to live conscientiously refuse to have children and pass those skills, knowledge, world view on to the next generation it WILL be a sad world indeed.</description>
