Yes, the link was broken due to some weird WordPress problem. It was a pesky one to correct, don't know why.

My aunt is a well-known homeopath in Toronto (she's now in Guelph) and
she is always extolling elderberry.

Your recommendations about sourcing it would be VERY welcome. I can buy it at the local Whole Foods but then it's $16.99 for a 4 oz. bottle!

I live just West of Boston and don't know of any herbal medicine shops around here. There used to be one in Harvard
Square in Cambridge (where DH works) but that's unfortunately long gone.

I wouldn't mind taking a country drive into the West to find some elderberry. It would be a special treat for a mileage-conscious girl, and I might pick up some straw too while I'm at it.

LOL sorry, guess with pingbacks its easy to race too far ahead (your original post had a broken link with the elderberry so wasnt sure what you had planned there)

I am not sure where you live but if its near my region I can make a recommendation re: where to buy these things. (I live in south central MA)

Hi Nika,
yes I got the info about elderberry through your Humble Garden (cf. link in post). So we are in sync, only with me lagging a little bit behind you ;))
